I have been showing dogs since 1997 and have had the opportunity to show a wide variety of breeds. I grew up showing Schipperke’s and Australian Shepherds, and was the top junior handler in 2003-2004 and have won many prestigious awards along the way. I have also been fortunate enough to show several client dogs (2003-04 top ten aussie, 2001-02 #2 aussie, co-owner/handler) towards top standings and rankings and finished numerous champions along the way. I have also conditioned and cared for the 2005 Westminster winner (Ch. Kan-Point’s VJK Autumn Roses) and many other Westminster winners.
Now in Utah
I grew up in Colorado, but have since relocated to Utah where I recently received a BYU degree in Finance. Since relocating to Utah I have still stayed quite active in the dog show world. My philosophy on showing dogs has always been to put the dog’s own personal well being and care before my own. I always like to work with client dogs before I ever take them into the ring to ensure the best quality of a dog show experience for the dog and so I can best represent the dog to it’s best ability.
